The Engineering Department comprises all departments required to execute a complete set of construction documentation for all facilities required for a building, infrastructure, or site. The sections within the department include Architectural, Civil, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire-Fighting, Electrical, Transportation and Traffic, Specifications and Quantity Surveying.

• The Architectural Section produces final construction detailed drawings for all buildings plans, elevations, cross-sections, finishing schedules, and various design details in appropriate scale.

• The Civil Section carries out topographic surveys and site developments for roads, storm drainage, parking and landscape among other important schemes. Civil staff designs drawings by CAD including grading and setting out design criteria and other technical reports.

• The Structural Section analyzes and designs the building’s structural framework addressing the critical loads with factors of efficiency, safety, economy, construction materials and methods.

• The Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Section (HVAC) covers every detail that will produce an internal climate prescribed by the client. Also part of the work is the circulation, selection and design of HVAC systems with economy and environmental friendliness as a main priority.

• The Plumbing and Sanitary Section designs water distribution, sanitary drainage, fire protection and medical gas systems. It also designs infrastructure utilities, drinking and firewater networks sewers and landscape irrigation systems.

• The Electrical Section designs indoor and outdoor electrical systems including all lighting, power distribution for medium tension and light tension, standby power generation, communication, protection and security systems.

• The Specifications Section supports other disciplines in the selection of building materials and Electro-Mechanical Systems. It also prepares both outline and final technical specifications.

• The Quantity Surveying Section evaluates, costs planning throughout the design period, prepares detailed tender documents including appropriate contract conditions and detailed bills of quantities. It also evaluates the tenders in detail.
